Bringing the Fairbanks Ballroom Dance Community together for the FIRST Fairbanks OPEN Ballroom Dance Championships

Prizes include:

-Medals,

-Stefani Borrego donated two tickets to the spring dance show for each category as well as one multi-day class to any of her dance camps (good for one year),

-Lessons offered by the Club, Melanie, Rulon, and Eamon/Audrey, & Margo.

Judges include:

Melanie, Rulon, and Eamon/Audrey, & Margo and possibly Stefani Borrego & Megan Allen

Each round will have two dances played back-to-back.  Time between rounds will feature open dances. This way everyone gets to dance all night.

Schedule:

7:00pm –Sign up competitors

7:25pm –Cut off time for youth competitors (18 and under)

7:30pm –Youth Waltz/Foxtrot

7:50pm –Youth Rumba/Cha-Cha

8:10pm –Youth East Coast/West Coast or Lindy

8:30pm –Youth award presentation (Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and overall)

8:40pm –Cut off time for adult competitors

8:45pm –Adult Waltz/Foxtrot

9:15pm –Adult Rumba/Cha-Cha

9:45pm –Adult East Coast/West Coast

10:30pm—Adult award presentation (Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and overall)
