Bringing the Fairbanks Ballroom Dance Community together for the FIRST Fairbanks OPEN Ballroom Dance Championships
Prizes include:-Medals,-Stefani Borrego donated two tickets to the spring dance show for each category as well as one multi-day class to any of her dance camps (good for one year),-Lessons offered by the Club, Melanie, Rulon, and Eamon/Audrey, & Margo.Judges include:Melanie, Rulon, and Eamon/Audrey, & Margo and possibly Stefani Borrego & Megan AllenEach round will have two dances played back-to-back. Time between rounds will feature open dances. Salsa Rueda 2 has been cancelled for this session, BUT West Coast Swing (WCS) 1.5 will be taking its place at 3:00 in our Saturday line-up. This coming Saturday is the first class. If you already are familiar with WCS basics, for example the sugar push, whip and side pass, definitely think about signing up for this class!! This 5 week class will cost $50 for members and $58 for Non-members.
